Key Points of the Project

Pamper and care: These are the core values that define Marvimundo, an online store specializing in perfume, cosmetics, makeup, and para-pharmacy products. With a network of 100 stores, it is one of the national leaders in the sector. The project focuses on the implementation of an online store using the Magento Open Source platform with Optimo Commerce + Retail. The primary goal was to enhance the functionality of the eCommerce site, optimize the end-user experience, and improve performance both on the front end and in managing large volumes of data updates.

Project Requirements and Services Provided

The project with Marvimundo required adapting a new design provided by the client, integrating payment methods such as Bizum and credit cards through Redsys. Additionally, it was necessary to implement dynamic categories and improve website performance, as well as integrate and optimize search functionality using Algolia.

To meet these requirements, the design was standardized to Optimo’s specifications, and content migration and configuration were completed. An appropriate SEO strategy was implemented for the replatforming, especially for discontinued products. One of the most interesting implementations was the creation of a system for related products and cross-selling rules.

This has been a phased project that allowed the client to evolve their needs as the project progressed. These actions ensured that Marvimundo’s site not only met the expected standards but also offered an enhanced and efficient user experience.

One of the most interesting requirements Marvimundo requested was the development of a system to create specific landing pages for brands based on their product catalog. These pages had to meet a series of adaptation restrictions to align with the brand’s own image.
