Atida Mifarma migration to Magento 2 Hyvä
This is a Christmas story: Atida arrived on Des.26th with very simple requirements: migrate Atida Spain and Portugal to Magento 2 + Hyvä in three months. The tasks were clear: Migrate, on the one hand, two shops on Spryker that where about to expire and integrate them with Algolia, Tryton, Clerk.io, Connectif, Minderest, Akeneo and Yotpo. On the other hand, also migrate the loyalty program they had for the use of virtual money (Atida Cash) in the form of points on the platform. There ws a plus, two important factors to take into account: the design, already defined, could not significantly change from the existing one, and the shop have to had an optimal level of performance given the high concurrency and conversion of the eCommerce.
Project Requirements and Services Provided
It was clear that the main challenge would be to determine the specific scope and prioritise appropriately. This was in order to be able to build the maximum in parallel without penalising quality nor capacity to validate the functionalities, assemble a high performance team and work in parallel with different developments that have a high level of dependency in many cases.
29 people worked on this project over three months (Architects, BackEnds, FrontEnds, Qa, Project and Delivery Managers). This gives an idea of the scale of the complexity of construction and management.
It is important to note that ATIDA is a very experienced client. It knows what it wants and brings ‘finished homework’ in terms of usability and the Look and Feel of the page. It also provides metrics on virtually every flow so that the decisions about what, how and where are based on real conversion data.
It is also important to highlight the close and necessary collaboration with Teradisk as an expert provider of infrastructures that support high-concurrency Magento 2 Hyvä based solutions, which has contributed greatly to the success of the project.
